What happens when separating parents can’t agree on where their children should live or how much time the children should spend with each parent? Julia can advise on issues which relate to a child’s residence (previously called custody) contact arrangements (previously called access) and Parental Responsibility.

Parents may need the court to make decisions concerning a child’s upbringing or prevent steps being taken which may not be in the child’s best interests. In these circumstances the court may be invited to make orders such as a Specific Issue Order or a Prohibited Steps Order.
